The Chamber Member Connections newsletter provides FREE advertising opportunities to our members - allowing them to promote their accomplishments, sales, and special events to the entire Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce network and beyond. Connections is issued on the 1st and 15th of every month and distributed by Constant Contact email to our membership and shared on our social media pages. Submissions must be limited to no more than 250 words, one logo and/or one .jpg, .pdf, or .png image, and should be emailed to email@example.com no later than three business days prior to publication to allow for editing.

The Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce hosts Business After 5 Mixers from 5:00-7:00pm on the last Thursday of each month (WITH THE EXCEPTIONS OF December, when the event is replaced by our AGM, AS WELL AS April, which is reserved for our Business Showcase). Each Mixer is hosted by a different Chamber Member, providing the host an opportunity to introduce their staff and services to Chamber members and invited guests. A Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting is a great way to celebrate a major milestone for your organization. In order to host a Ribbon Cutting, your business must be a Chamber member in good standing and must have recently: opened its doors; changed ownership or management; moved to a new location; been remodeled or expanded; or is marking an anniversary. The Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce periodically hosts Business Interchanges. These are educational sessions providing information for our Members by presenters arranged by the Chamber or by Members themselves. The Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce provides the exclusive opportunity for our Members to advertise on our digital sign. Located outside of Centre 2000 on 116 Avenue and 106 Street, this sign is stationed at one of the busiest intersections in Grande Prairie.

The Chamber Member Quick Connect follows our goal of Connecting Business and Creating Opportunity. Quick Connect is based on the speed networking model allowing members to meet other members in a structured but relaxed environment.
Members will have a chance to exchange information with at least ten members during the event, leaving the remainder of the time available to continue discussions or strike up conversations with those they didn't have a chance to meet.

The Business Showcase is designed for anyone interested in learning more about the Chamber and our Members. The event replaces our Business After 5 Mixer in April and is a cross section of booths featuring a variety of Member products and services.
